Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, features, APIs, and micro-task platform services provided by JobsWithoutDegree (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, logging in, funding campaigns, or completing tasks on JobsWithoutDegree, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. Accounts & Security
To access platform features, you must register an account either by submitting accurate registration details or through Google Sign-In. You agree that:
- You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms and must use the Platform in accordance with applicable law.
- You will provide true, accurate, and current information. Providing fraudulent or misleading data is grounds for immediate account suspension.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
- Each individual may maintain only one primary account. Creating multiple accounts (“multi-accounting”) to manipulate referral rewards, evade task quotas, or artificially bypass limits is strictly prohibited.
- You must promptly notify us via our support channels if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Platform Operating Model
JobsWithoutDegree operates a two-sided micro-task and promotional engagement marketplace:
- Advertisers: Users who create promotional campaigns, set budgets, and deposit funds to gain verified engagement (such as YouTube video watch time, social subscriptions, or promotional tasks).
- Earners / Workers: Users who browse available campaigns, review requirements, complete verified activities, submit proof, and receive monetary rewards into their Earnings Wallet.
JobsWithoutDegree serves as the platform facilitator, escrow holder, and verification mediator. We do not act as an employer, agent, or broker for any user.
4. Task Participation & Rules
When participating in micro-tasks or video watch campaigns as an earner:
- Eligibility & Country Targeting: Tasks may be targeted to specific geographic jurisdictions. Users outside the advertiser’s targeted country are not eligible to start or submit proofs for those tasks.
- Proof Requirements: Where manual proof is required, you must upload clear, legible screenshots and accurate information demonstrating compliance with the campaign guidelines.
- One Submission Per Task: You may only complete a task and receive reward credit once per campaign. Duplicate submissions, re-submitting previously rejected proofs without dispute justification, or attempting to complete the same campaign on multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
- Advertiser Self-Exclusion: Advertisers are technically and contractually prohibited from watching, completing, or submitting proofs for their own campaigns.
- Anti-Cheat Telemetry: For video watch tasks, our server enforces exact elapsed watch time requirements, periodic heartbeat telemetry, rate limiting (maximum 5 task initiations per minute), and client device fingerprinting. Bypassing timers, muting automated scripts, running headless browsers, or spoofing telemetry will invalidate the task and subject the account to restriction.
- No Guaranteed Earning Volume: Task availability is governed entirely by active advertiser demand. We make no representation or guarantee that tasks will always be available or that any minimum earning level will be achieved.
5. Campaigns & Advertisers
When creating promotional campaigns as an advertiser:
- Upfront Campaign Escrow: 100% of the total campaign budget (required participants multiplied by unit cost) is locked in escrow immediately upon campaign creation. Unfunded campaigns cannot be launched.
- Permissible Content: Campaigns must not promote illegal substances, malicious software, phishing schemes, defamatory material, pyramid schemes, or content that violates third-party intellectual property or terms of service (including YouTube Terms of Service).
- Fair Review Obligation: Advertisers must review submitted proofs in good faith. Unjustified or bad-faith rejections to evade paying legitimate workers will result in campaign suspension and administrative intervention.
- Auto-Approval Timeout: If an advertiser does not review a pending proof within the configured review window, the Platform may automatically approve the submission to ensure workers receive prompt compensation.
- No Guaranteed Conversions: While we enforce verification of completed actions, we do not guarantee third-party algorithmic performance, sales conversions, or ongoing external subscriber retention.
6. Dual-Wallet Architecture
JobsWithoutDegree maintains an isolated, double-entry dual-wallet system to ensure financial separation between worker earnings and advertiser promotional budgets:
1. Earnings Wallet: Holds funds earned through verified task completions and affiliate referral commissions. Funds in the Earnings Wallet are eligible for payout/withdrawal through supported payout channels, subject to minimum thresholds, daily limits, platform fees, and verification rules.
2. Campaign Funding Wallet: Holds funds dedicated exclusively to funding advertising campaigns. Funds deposited via external payment gateways (such as Paystack, Flutterwave, or PocketFi) enter the Campaign Funding Wallet and cannot be withdrawn through ordinary user withdrawal functionality.
Transfers Between Wallets:
- You may voluntarily transfer available earnings from your Earnings Wallet into your Campaign Funding Wallet to fund advertising campaigns.
- Transferred earnings may only be returned to the Earnings Wallet up to the amount originally transferred from earnings (tracked as earnings-origin campaign funds), provided those funds are not locked in active campaign escrow or spent on completed tasks. Externally deposited funds cannot be moved to the Earnings Wallet via this transfer.
7. Campaign Deposit Refunds
Because external campaign deposits are dedicated specifically to advertising, they are not accessible via standard worker payout screens. However, we maintain a formal Campaign Deposit Refund procedure for unused deposited advertising capital:
- Eligibility: Advertisers may request a refund for available, uncommitted, and unspent funds that were originally deposited via external payment gateways. Funds already spent on approved task payouts, committed to active campaign escrow, or originating from transferred task earnings are ineligible.
- Minimum Refund Request: The current minimum deposit refund request amount implemented on the Platform is ₦500.00.
- Administrative Review: All deposit refund requests are placed in a locked status and undergo mandatory administrative audit to verify original payment authenticity, check for chargeback disputes, and prevent money laundering.
- Disbursement: Approved refunds are disbursed to the advertiser’s verified destination bank account in accordance with the platform’s implemented refund review workflow.
- No Guaranteed Processing Timeline: While requests are processed expeditiously, approval and disbursement timelines depend on banking clearance and fraud verification.
8. Withdrawals & Payouts
Users with available, unlocked balances in their Earnings Wallet may request payouts under the following conditions:
- Source Balance: Withdrawals originate exclusively from your available Earnings Wallet.
- Thresholds & Limits: Payout requests are subject to minimum withdrawal limits (the standard platform baseline is ₦500.00, unless otherwise adjusted by administrative configuration) and daily maximum withdrawal limits. Current thresholds are displayed dynamically on the withdrawal page.
- Applicable Fees: Withdrawals may incur administrative processing fees (such as flat or percentage-based bank transfer fees or VTU disbursement fees) as configured and disclosed prior to confirmation.
- Supported Channels: Payouts are offered through channels enabled on the Platform, which may include direct Nigerian bank transfers, mobile airtime, and mobile data bundles. Available options depend on provider operational status.
- Reconciliation of Ambiguous Outcomes: If an automated disbursement provider (such as a VTU network or inter-bank gateway) experiences a network timeout or temporary interruption, the withdrawal record remains in a “processing” state until the transaction status is authoritatively reconciled with the provider. Balance settlement or unlock will occur once reconciliation is complete.
9. Platform Fees & Net Rewards
JobsWithoutDegree sustains marketplace operations, infrastructure, and fraud detection through platform service fees:
- When an advertiser creates a campaign, they specify the gross unit reward for completing the task.
- Upon task approval, the Platform deducts a service fee (commission) from the gross reward. The remaining balance (the net reward) is credited directly to the worker’s Earnings Wallet.
- Platform commission rates are configured by platform administration (with a standard baseline of 25% unless modified by system settings) and may be adjusted to accommodate operational requirements.
10. Referral Program
Where enabled, the Platform offers an affiliate referral program allowing users to earn a share of platform commission fees generated by users who register through their unique referral link:
- Referral commissions are credited to the referrer’s Earnings Wallet upon verified completion and approval of referred users’ tasks.
- Commission percentages are funded from the platform fee (not deducted from the worker’s net reward) and are subject to dynamic platform configuration.
- Self-referrals, automated account generation, circular referral schemes, and advertising referral links via unsolicited spam are strictly prohibited and will result in revocation of referral earnings.
11. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Fraudulent Submissions: Uploading fabricated, edited, cropped, or stolen screenshots, or claiming reward credit without genuinely completing task requirements.
- Telemetry Manipulation: Altering client-side JavaScript, tampering with YouTube video player events, spoofing elapsed timers, or using browser plugins to simulate video playback.
- Automated & Bot Abuse: Using scrapers, automated scripts, bots, macro recorders, or headless browsers to access the Platform or complete tasks.
- Multi-Accounting: Operating multiple user accounts, registering fake accounts under your own referral link, or pooling accounts to circumvent task limits.
- Payment Fraud: Initiating fraudulent bank transfers, using stolen credit/debit cards, or requesting false chargebacks.
- System Interference: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of platform infrastructure, exploiting software defects, or reverse engineering APIs.
12. Proof Review & Disputes
The Platform provides a structured review and dispute resolution workflow:
- Advertisers must review worker proof submissions and either approve or reject them with a descriptive reason.
- If a worker believes a proof was rejected unfairly, they may submit a formal Dispute through the platform within the dispute window.
- Platform staff and designated moderators review the campaign requirements, submitted proof, and rejection rationale, and the platform records and applies the resulting platform decision.
- Overturned rejections settle the gross reward from the advertiser’s escrow and credit the worker’s Earnings Wallet accordingly.
13. Account Suspension & Restriction
JobsWithoutDegree reserves the right to restrict, deactivate, or suspend any account (setting is_active = 0) immediately without prior notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the user has violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent conduct, or presented a security or financial risk to the Platform.
Suspended accounts are blocked from logging in, accessing wallets, and initiating withdrawals. The Platform does not enforce an automatic balance forfeiture policy; account balances remain recorded on our ledger subject to administrative review, dispute resolution, or applicable legal orders.
14. Third-Party Integrations
The Platform relies on external third-party services for essential functionality, including payment processing (Paystack, Flutterwave, PocketFi), single sign-on (Google LLC), video hosting (YouTube), and VTU disbursements (MaiData NG).
You acknowledge that JobsWithoutDegree does not control and is not liable for third-party service outages, network transmission delays, banking gateway downtime, or policy changes enacted by external providers.
15. Content & Intellectual Property
The JobsWithoutDegree website, design, trademarks, logos, custom software code, and platform architecture are the exclusive property of JobsWithoutDegree.

JobsWithoutDegree is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or continuous availability.
We do not guarantee that the service will operate without interruptions, errors, delays, or security vulnerabilities, or that defects will be immediately corrected. Scheduled and emergency maintenance may occur without advance notice.

18. Modifications to Terms
